Braincheck secures funding round to advance cognitive assessment tech

BrainCheck

BrainCheck has just secured a funding round to advance its proprietary technology in cognitive assessment. BrainCheck is a leading, FDA cleared digital health platform designed to standardize how cognitive health is measured and managed. Its core technology BrainCheck Assess, provides clinicians and researchers with reliable repeatable data to track brain function over time.

The investment will be used to enhance the company’s AI assisted tools and scaling with large scale health systems. As the global population ages, there is a growing diagnosis gap where cognitive impairments like Alzheimer’s and dementia often go undetected due to a lack of time and resources in primary care settings.

BrainCheck addresses this by providing a standardized, FDA-cleared digital platform that allows clinicians to move beyond one-time screenings. Instead, the technology facilitates longitudinal monitoring, allowing doctors to track a patient’s cognitive health over time and integrate those findings directly into electronic health records.

Beyond just software, BrainCheck is expanding into “care enablement” by partnering with organizations to help understaffed practices manage complex cognitive care workflows. By automating the more rigorous aspects of assessment and data analysis, the platform aims to help healthcare providers identify risks earlier and transition patients into structured treatment pathways more efficiently.

This shift is particularly critical as the industry moves toward value-based care models, where health systems are increasingly held accountable for the long-term outcomes of patients with cognitive decline.
